Rights Empowerment Project is now open. We exist because there is a persistent distance between the rights people are told they have and the systems people actually encounter when they try to use them.
That distance is where our work lives. We build plain-language guidance, we sit beside people as they move through compliance processes, and we advocate for procedures that ordinary people can navigate without a specialist at their side.
Our first priority is the Resources library: practical, step-by-step material on records requests, notices, hearings, and documentation. It is free, it is public, and it will keep growing.
